Circa 1920's folk art home made Thompson Machine Gun
Child size - just shy of 28 inches with a wooden mechanism that makes a clacking sound to simulate machine gun fire when you rotate the wheel. Has old nails for sights and the initials "H.F." carved in long ago. Has damage to the barrel but overall nice wear and patina - the rotating wheel has been replaced at some point - the rest of the gun is all original.

Folk art carved figural soldier swagger stick
Inscribed " DATE 14/8/1955 - MADE IN EGYPT" Presumably made by or for a British officer stationed in Egypt prior to their withdrawl after the Suez Crisis of 1956. 25 inches long representing a soldier in uniform with tie, cap, shorts, etc. Great detail with pins used for buttons. Also, has a snake winding up the stick towards the soldier's foot.
