I don't think this was ever a weathervane, but may have been tacked up outside ( holes? ) - it was never presented as anything other than vintage not antique - I just love the rusting / oxidation coloring and the aesthetic of the piece, especially the rack of antlers - sheet iron? It was well under $100 when purchased a few years ago. 20 inches long by about 22 inches high.
