Circa 1900 carved monkey on a stick acrobat toy
Particularly nice form, size and patina - about 12 inches tall. These come up every once an a while, but not that often. There are two available for sale at www.aaawt.com - the well known one from the Ricco and Maresca book for $2,465 and another for $645.

19th Century lead printer's plate for horse sale broadsides.
An unusual and visually striking lead plate that is hand carved. It measures 9 inches long by 5.5 inches high and is 1/4 inch thick - weighs 3 pounds. Included are a couple of pictures of horse sale broadsides that appear to have been made using this plate. Since it's not a reverse image, wondering if this plate was used to make a stereotype mold.
