Folk art, carved, articulated limberjack.

9.5 inches tall with an unusual body and face.  The Anonymous Works' site that lists parts of the collection for sale has a 19th Century picture of a carver that has the same style of carvings as this little guy - definitely the same carver of this limberjack.

Home made whirligig

This is my most recent whirligig - a summer whittling past time of mine.  Carved out of yellow pine with fir paddles.  14 inches high, not including the paddles.  The arms turn smoothly and quickly and mounted in the back yard.

Circa 1900 folk art, Swedish birch bark box

Measures 4.5 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches high.  Made of many layers of birch bark with a wooden lid and base.  The most amazing part is the many folk art decorations that are made of birch bark and applied to the piece.

Lathe turned birdhouse shaped like an acorn.

Made by my dad in his retirement years as a bit of a whimsy.  I can't bring myself to expose it to the outdoors.

Folk art duck decoy

Very folky with great original paint.
